This is an excellent opportunity for a partner to build their practice from the legal hub of Singapore in tandem with existing clients that the firm services.

The partnership would like to add to their pre-existing practice groups by hiring not only a technically experienced lawyer but an individual that is able to build a practice in Singapore with the assistance of the partnership through cross selling of expertise.

Whilst experience working in the Singapore will be an advantage the partnership will also consider common law practitioners currently working in other Asian financial centres.

Key Requirements

• UK (or equivalent common law qualification) or Singapore law qualified
• Ability and appetite to build a business across APAC with the support of the other partners in the practice group
• Expert practitioner in ship finance
• Role will suit an ambitious senior associate/junior partner that has worked at a top tiered, internationally recognised law firm
• Good track record and portability of contacts more important than a significant following
• Partners with portable businesses in Asia
